Travel to be Inspired and Improve overall Health


I am very inspired by traveling. I travel a lot because of that. It motivates and rejuvenate me to levels of enthusiasm and makes me a new person. It opens my mind to see the world with new prospective. When you travel, it is a carefree feeling. A situation where you don’t have to think of work, bills and everyday stuff. Taking vacations and traveling is good for all aspects of your life, mainly for your health. Traveling is money and this is something that is in everyone's mind. There are many ways to save money and make travelling affordable at any budget just by making minor changes to everyday stuff you already do. Money saving ideas and Making travelling affordable is something that I often talk about from my own experiences. This is also an opportunity where you can learn many things. This includes not only budgeting but planning, learning new skills, improving your health and a lot more.


There are studies conducted by AARP and various other medical journals suggest the health benefits to traveling is immense. Your moral, energy level and the understanding global aspects gets better each time you travel. Not to mention how it could increase your creativity. You become interesting to family, friends and collogues at work. You get active and there is so much more than just seeing scenery to traveling.

In my podcast Travel to inspire and improve health, I mention such benefits. Traveling near or far has these benefits. But the further you go better it is. I often talk about traveling and motivational aspects in my podcast. Please include this in your list of items to follow. I will be thrilled to entertain you this way. Traveling helps you with physical activities that you never thought possible and that was in you. During your vacation if you rented a bike for sightseeing and that you liked it so much that you may want to do that as a hobby on your daily life. Maybe you walked a distance to see a waterfall and you felt good. Think of the health benefits to that. You are now an active person. Maybe you went paragliding or snowboarding, now you have a new sport under you belt. Fun becomes part of your life. All the bad habits get substituted for the good.

You are a happy person and little things don't matter to you anymore. You focus on more important things in life. You become curious to learn new things, new cultures, and new languages. Your routine life gets more interesting. You are open to new ideas and ways that can change your life. This makes you full and everyone notices you. Creativity becomes part of you as you see new things and get new ideas from different people and places. New ideas and boosts in creativity makes you efficient. New skills make you do tasks efficiently at home and at work. Your daily schedule becomes manageable. You are an interesting person to yourself. People ask you for ideas and advice.


Spending time with family and your significant other can improve communications and eliminate misunderstandings. You can flare up a broken relationship. Planning a vacation can bring families closer together. While on vacation the bond gets stronger. Imagine you on a hike and being lost, how you work together can get you out of that situation or earn respect for the other person. How the team you thought you lost has been all along. Your troubleshooting skills gets improved.

Travel improves health in ways you never thought possible. When you are exposed to new environment and new food, in order to cope, your body creates new antibodies to fight. Thereby boosting your immune system. You may also be more careful about new places and surroundings that you may take precautions such as washing hands more frequently and using hand sanitizer. Thereby your personal hygiene gets better. When you travel to exotic places specially in third world countries, you are bound to get sick with diarrhea, nausea or vomiting with food and water. An example to that is that, I travel to Peru quite often and the first time I was there I was subjected to such discomfort. I also had severe Altitude sickness in Rainbow Mountains and Machu Picchu while hiking. As I began to go there more, I no longer have such inconveniences. This has also helped me with the activities that I do at home like road biking and running.


Travel relieves stress. The excitement it creates makes you happy. Discussing destinations and things to do once you get there, gets your mind off of daily stress and increases happiness in you. The more you discuss and think about vacations, the more it becomes clear and becomes a habit where you constantly thinking about happy thoughts. Stress becomes second or alleviates from your life. You are a happier person, and you smile more. Smiling more eliminates wrinkles on your face and your health improves. Your friends and colleagues want to know your secret. 

You live longer and healthier with more brain power. You look younger. You automatically control your weight. At work you perform better as your mind is free and you have higher energy level. You don't worry about little things like a collogue trying to overtake you. 

A fun thing like traveling can be a game changer for a healthier and more meaningful life.

You become better at planning and budgeting. Imagine that you have a budget and that you have a list of items that you need to accomplish. This would make you think harder and prioritize the list in order to fulfil what is at stake or arrive at a desired outcome. The benefit doing this with a partner would do whole lot more. It would strengthen your bond and trust. You daily life get easier as you incorporate what you have learnt on your vacations.
