How safe is Mexico City was one of my biggest fears. There are many articles online on this subject that could be debated. My experience going there confirmed all of those questions and concerns. It was an amazing experience. I found it to be one of the cleanest cities I have visited. It is also one of the safest cities. There is police presence everywhere and in some cases the military too.
There a lot of museums and monuments on every street corner.
It is a very populated city, yet very efficient.
Getting around Mexico city is a breeze too. The subway is very efficient and cheap. 27cents a ride. You can buy 10-20 tickets at a time. You can get to the city from the airport by subway. It was never mentioned anywhere and no one knew of it when asked. It is as good as the Paris subway. The busses are very efficient too. Communication is very cheap even if you buy Simm for your phone.

There is food in every street corner and people are lining up to buy. I found many fast food places just like at home. McDonald's is everywhere even in the subway. On the store front You have McCafe deserts that you can order from the sidewalk. I thought that was neat. You could get coffee and ice cream.
